Good Tuesday friends! Today in La Voz with Mariel Fiori is a day of politics and health.
We went to Albany for the Mass Mobilization for Climate, Justice and Jobs. We joined the more than 300 people who came from all corners of the state to make their voices heard so that climate, jobs and justice have their place in the New York State budget of 2023. The organizers of the Coalition NY Renews wanted to show lawmakers that New Yorkers demand an equitable clean energy future, free from pollution.
I spoke with Ariadna Silva and Erla Hernández from NYPIRG, and with René and Maricarmen Mejía from For the Many about it.
Furthermore, journalist Amy Goodman said that from Mozambique to Wall Street, the climate change time bomb is ticking.
